Step 1: Connect the Galaxy Note 4 to the Gear VR (2014).

Devices may require a software update to successfully install Gear VR. The installation method or screens may differ depending on the software version. Before installing the software, ensure that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. Step 13: When the software is installed, the Oculus Store app will appear on the Apps screen of the device. Or, tap Browse Oculus Store to launch the Oculus Store app. Step 12: Connect the device to the Gear VR. Step 11: Tap Install Apps to install the default VR apps. When you wear the Gear VR, the screen unlocks and you can use the touchpad. ■ A proximity sensor inside the Gear VR detects the position of your face. ■ The Gear VR app is not available on the Play Store, the software can only be installed after the phone is connected to the Gear VR. ■ Devices may require a software update to successfully install Gear VR. ■ Before installing the software, ensure that the device is connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. ■ Before using the Gear VR, deactivate the screen lock feature on the device. 
■ The 3D viewing experience may vary depending on your visual acuity.
When you connect your device to the Gear VR for the first time, the software installation will start automatically.
